This is an investment fund that is designed to build up a large principle amount from which interest will be earned annually to support youth ministry across Canada. This fund is necessary because we have relatively few churches spread over a huge territory. This means our financial resources are small but our expenses are very high. The following are some examples of how the interest earned on this fund may be used (now or in the future): Canadian Youth in Mission programs, District Leadership development grants, Canadian Mentoring program, Canadian Youth Congress (CYC), CYC Teen Travel Scholarships, Youth Leadership training programs, Regional Council Youth Representative Expenses, Cuba Work and Witness, etc. Listing #63 of 64 Project Name: Global Mission Impact Category: Event Project Id: glo1001 Project Cost: Under $100.00 Region: Global Status: Open Global Mission Impact [Sponsor]  Globally NYI has over 381,173 members around the world. This project is designed to impact all of these areas by strengthening the structures that support them. The Church has declared a goal of unity, but we as individuals must work towards this vision. The Global mission impact project is designed for those who have a desire to participate in NYI\\\'s mission offering without desiring to sponsor a specific project. Listing #61 of 64 Project Name: Haiti Youth convention Category: Materials Project Id: car503 Project Cost: $500.00 Region: Caribbean Status: Open Haiti Youth convention [Sponsor]  Youth events are of great importance to promote, equip, encourage and support the ongoing youth ministry in Haiti. During these events the young people have a great oppportunity to get acquainted with other young people from the different districts, have a sense of unity, to be spiritually strengthened, and encouraged in their faith, discipleship, and leadership formation. Any event that brings our young people together is of great importance in Haiti since, unfortunately, our economical reality and the difficulty in obtaining visas to go overseas makes it very difficult for our youth leaders and young people to attend any regional event in the Caribbean region. This project has to do with our Youth Convention and any help for the materials will be greatly appreciated.
